Toy Pantry Volunteers
Our Holiday Toy Pantry will take place on three different dates this year. Each child will receive a new toy, stocking-stuffer, and stuffed animal. Last year, we impacted more than 1,500 children through our holiday program and hope to serve more this year.
It is truly a rewarding experience to help so many families in need and to brighten their holiday season. We hope you will join us for this tradition!
Volunteer opportunities will be available by November 15th.
If you need assistance, please contact Missy Reams by phone at 515-244-6251 option 5 or by email at mreams@bidwellriverside.org.
Types of Holiday Volunteer Assistance Needed:

Holiday Toy Pantry
-
Set-Up: Help move items into the pantry and set up stations for hot chocolate and cookies, stocking-stuffers, toys, and blankets so that families can "shop" through the Holiday Toy Pantry. (Please note: All items are free.) All ages of volunteers welcome.
-
*Toy Pantry Event (Toy Giveaway): Volunteers are needed to assist with hospitality, snacks, and guiding families through the toy pantry, as they choose items for each of their children. (*Note: Must be 10 years or older to help at this event. All other activities do not have age restrictions.)
-
Toy Pantry Office Set-Up: All remaining toys are moved to our Administrative Office, and families that were unable to attend the Holiday Toy Pantry events may come select toys and stocking-stuffers for their children.
-
Data Entry: Data entry is needed so that all toy pantry sign up forms are entered into a database.
