Volunteer Opportunities

Welcome and thank you for your interest in volunteering at Bidwell Riverside Center and Hawthorn Hill.  Working with families in need since 1893, volunteers are the heart of our organization.

For more info, contact Missy Reams by email or by calling 515-244-6251, option 5.

  • Guiding clients through their grocery-shopping experience.

  • Stocking and facing grocery aisles.

  • Sorting and organizing donations.

  • Yard work (includes mowing, raking, gardening, and maintaining flower beds)
